Se trata de un juego antiguo y comprado en Alemania. Es un modelo bastante interesante a pesar de que no se encuentra en el mejor estado.
Es un juego plomado.
Las piezas negras son las que en peor estado están. Con rajas en la base de algunas piezas y algún 'mordisco' que otro. A pesar de ello es un juego muy agradable para jugar.
El rey negro es más alto que el blanco. Posiblemente uno de los dos reyes sea una pieza de reemplazo o quizá sea sólo un defecto de fabricación. Los juegos antiguos se tallaban a mano y es frecuente que las piezas no sea absolutamente iguales, aunque en este caso la diferencia es notable. Tampoco parece probable que se hicieran dos medidas tan similares del mismo patrón de piezas pero sigo inclinándome a pensar que es una pieza procedente de otro juego de igual patrón.
El rey blanco mide 90mm. Al principio pensaba que era el rey negro el que podría proceder de un reemplazo, pero tras encontrar un juego muy parecido a este, por la diferencia de altura entre el rey y la dama sería el rey blanco el que procedería de otro juego. Los caballos son espectaculares.
Finalmente un detalle de alfiles y torres.
No tengo ninguna información "concreta" acerca de la fecha a la que pertenece el juego. Por el aspecto como mínimo seguramente sea de mitad del s.XX aunque por las referencias que vamos a poner ahora quizá un poco anterior y sea de principios de siglo.

El tipo de caballo y de rey es muy similar, aunque el caballo parece un poco menos poderoso y el juego, del que no hay medidas, un poco más pequeño. Quizá al ser un juego de talla inferior el detalle del caballo es un poco diferente.
El juego del enlace viene en una caja de la casa alemana "E. H. Schütze" que comercializaba juegos y editaba libros desde la finales del siglo XIX. Las referencias a artículos o libros de esta casa que aparecen en internet son, desde subastas de Christies con raquetas datadas como 1890 ca. hasta libros editados en 1915. Como no sé hasta que fecha funcionó dicha casa vendiendo juegos deportivos y no he encontrado referencias posteriores posiblemente el juego que traemos hoy sea de principios del s. XX.

Hi, i have some interesting glass-eyed set unpublished. I don't have the pictures anymore. And related to the url you sent i have a Staunton from Germany with the same knight of the Schütze marker and i have a set with similarities of the wood set of the picture number 6. I didn't have information about that set and maybe it could be from same marker. Here i can't upload picture. I will try to do next week maybe a new entry.

EliminarThe set you reference (http://eldesvandelajedrez.blogspot.com/2018/01/ajedrez-tipo-staunton-origen-alemania.html) came with the name "Rochlitz" but I have not found any proof that they were turning/carving the pieces themselves. I figured that, as they were located near Berlin (Charlottenburg), they could have been supplied by Schütze, who were also located in Berlin.
